Many things have happened - from the original parish meadow, through the first building in the form of Sonnenhang, up to the present SUN building complex on the sunny western slope at the foot of Klaunzerberg in Matrei.
The SUN-Matrei is a unique blend of country, thinking of the future and "admission" of new things! Based on the idea of Friedl Ganzer, the SUN complex offers a living space for both locals and guests. Two local families with children have been living in the classic as well as the design complex for many years, while holiday guests enjoy a unique "familiarized" atmosphere.
Friedl also "allowed" an extraordinary architecture, which is to show that "something else" is often realizable in the conservative Tyrolean mountain region.
That means:
Maintain beautiful,
afford impossible,
create new!
